Location and Climate

Lisbon is the nearest airport, and is only about a 50 minute simple drive on motorways and major roads to our villa. The flight time from the UK is approximately 2.5 hours. It is well served by the scheduled airlines and some low cost airlines.

· EASYJET fly daily from London Luton and several times a week from Liverpool, Bristol and Edinburgh.

· MONARCH fly daily from Gatwick

· BA fly four times daily from Heathrow

· TAP AIR fly four times daily from Heathrow/Gatwick

· AIR LINGUS fly daily from Dublin

. Various airlines fly direct to Lisbon from several Scottish airports

Faro is an alternative airport offering cheap flights, many with the low-cost carriers. Our villa is approximately a 2.5 hour drive from Faro with nearly the entire journey along under utilised motorways. Easyjet fly here from many UK airports.

Porto is another alternative airport and is about a 2.5 hour drive. RyanAir fly here from both Liverpool and Stanstead.

A car is essential for getting around.
